Jordan's Ballet March 2010

I have some great video of this, classic stuff, I will try to resize it so I can post it. In the mean time, here are some pics of Jordan in her first performance. They started with some tap and finished with ballet.

Rock climbing

The YMCA has open rock climbing a couple times a week, we finally took Ash this week. She had a blast and did much better than we expected. The wall is probably 20 or 25 feet and on her last climb, she made it just over halfway up.

Legoland

Nothing overly exciting here, but it did make for a fun Sunday afternoon.

Aruba

I'm a little slow on posting this one as it's been over a month since we got back, but we went to Aruba (all 4 of us) with my parents. It was an awesome vacation.

We spent lots of time at the beach.



Papa was a master sand castle builder and entertained the kids with his amazing creations. Jordan's favorite part of course was smashing the castles as soon as they were built.


We went to a place called Baby Beach where the snorkeling was fantastic. Ashley did really well and got to see a ton of fish. I think we have another diver in the family.



The ladies went out on a boat/submarine. It's a boat that extends down into the water and there are windows. They got to see lots of fish and a sea turtle.

While the girls were out on the sub, dad and I went fishing and each caught a nice size mahi mahi. They aren't massive fish, but man do they fight!!


And here our fish are about 3 hours later. You can't beat fresh fish, especially when you caught it.


We were able to sneak away for a few dives and one of the guys we dove with was nice enough to take some pictures of us. This was a dive called "The Fingers" because the reef kind of looks like a hand. Pretty good diving overall.

Halloween

We made the annual trek to Bensington's Farm for rides, pig races and some pumkins.

Uncle Mike comes to Chicago

Uncle Mike came in for a visit to see his Chicago friends. We hooked up with him for lunch.
